						I'm not one typically given to flights of passionate verbosity over building materials, but here we are. We were in need of new fascia planking for the house, and my research landed me at Windsor One. Long story short, we replaced a lot of planking on the house with Windsor One - and by the way that was last year - and it was absolutely worth doing. This stuff is fantastic, and I'm certain it will continue to look great for years to come!

						Primed trim board seems like an easy thing to produce... not for Windsor One. Windsor One chooses to print their name and phone number across one entire side of their board with ink that will bleed through any paint applied, so they in effect turn a normal primed board into a one-sided board, just so they can advertise. I called them on it and was met with an arrogant individual who stated, "This is the way we do it and have done for 20 years". Just about any available manufacturer offers a better product and cares more about their customers. Avoid Windsor One.

Hi Steve, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It's been quite a few years since we have seen the backstamp bleeding through a top coat; this particular instance occurred because the painter used a special glycol based topcoat which "re-wet" the ink stamp causing the bleed, and we were able to assist him with a fix. We haven’t seen this happen with oil or latex based paints. If you'd be open to it, we’d be happy to talk directly and even arrange a site visit to take a look and help troubleshoot the problem. Also worth noting: the ink stamp always marks the back of the board. The face is where the product is graded and intended to be finished. 						Awesome company! Not only have I used their trim but also sold it working at a building supply store. Great waranty and customer service. Always have promotions and their 800 number is printed on the back of every piece of trim..call Kurt for a shirt! Every once and a while we would get lucky and find t-shirts and winter hats snuck in the units of trim, and I can say that this is the only company that I have ever seen do this! Keep up the good work it does not go unnoticed!
