The Edgehill Mansion on the campus of Dominican College CA

This historical Victorian estate was built in 1880s for a prominent San Franciscan, William Babcock. You’ll notice the “Queen Anne Architectural Touches” such as wrap around porches, wrapped columns and Palladian Windows. The home was sold to the sisters of the Dominican in the 1920s and originally was used for offices, a senior dormitory, classrooms along with many other functions. The result of the restoration provides a utilitarian everyday function “Heritage & Alumni House” for Dominican University. WindsorONE S1S2E Trim Boards, WOBC6 Beaded Ceiling and 8 Rabbeted Bevel siding were the products used by Starke Structures,, subs to the projects GC, Wright Contracting, a historical specialist who has worked with the University on many projects.
